Advice Vixens

Hullo sunshines! Well, I popped on my size 12 khakis today only to realize that ... They are quite out of date! Ten years have passed since I last wore them. They are gap khakis. Where does anyone get high quality khakis these days?

haha I love your question. I still love wearing khakis, and about ten years ago I had quite the assortment of gap khakis as well, as they were super in at that time.

khakis are still super fashionable and more flattering than ever in my opinion. places like express and the limited make it their business (and pay a lot for marketing) to promote their awesome fitting pants. banana republic too, would be a very classic place to go for some high quality, updated khakis.

those stores are pretty conventional, but they all have different 'cuts', and all market themselves towards a more business casual/ city chic look. in all of those stores you can get work basics that are updated and very on trend. and when is say trend, i don't mean forever 21 trend, i mean updated cuts, fitting, and tailoring. they are still carry classic cuts of pants if you want more of what you had ten years ago!

i recently got slim fitting skinny leg 'khakis'. they are super stretchy and very hot looking! great for a date. they are the classic camel color, with the side pocketing. not your traditional pant, but a fun twist on the original.

    hope that helps!!!

Ha! Sadly, neither the gap nor dockers carry a good durable-work line. But you just reminded me that lands' end does! I just like several pairs of nicer black pants with a durable pair of khakis.

Oh, yes, and don't forget LL Bean.
They DID invent the mom jeans but looks like they have some cuter cuts now too.

I definitely like the banana republic options! Thank you!

I think I'm going to hit a size 10 before school starts, and I don't enjoy shopping during the school season.
