I think they have gone to eat somewhere before they drive back - her parents came to get her today. Cannot wait to see if she says anything before she gets her last load and leaves he keys.

I feel bad for your roommate. Clearly she's not able to be open to new people and taking advantage of opportunities to make friends. It's her loss.

I had a roommate for the last couple of months to save on money.
She was hardly ever home and when she was home she would go to her room and shut the door. She would never say "hi" or talk to me at all unless we passed each oher in the hall - Many times i'd be in the living room and she would never even pop her head in. In fact, she kept a lot of food in her room as if she wasn't allowed in the kitchen.
Because of this, the entire 5 months that she was living here, we had 3 conversations. One was the first night she arrived, and one was when she spent Easter with me and my Mom. Not exagerrating. I cooked a huge spread for Easter and I know that we were gracious hosts that day.
We traded some texts about rent payments because she was out of town a lot. Speaking of, she would frequently leave for out of town for a week at a time and not bother to let me know.
She is in the process of moving out right now and every time she comes up here to take down another load, she shuts her door!
I have had two other short term roommates in the past two years and they both keep in touch and are super friendly with me. Even my boyfriend, whom has only been here twice while she was here thinks this is really strange.
My goodness, what have I done to deserve such treatment?? Or is she just a jerk??
She is from Michigan and claims to be religous. I thoughgt she seemed like such a sweet young woman before she moved in, I am flabbergasted by the way she has acted.
