I had sex with a buddy the condom fell off, I took the morning after pill and now my period is two days late.

My ob won't answer and I am wondering if this happened because of the pills?

I went online to more or less check when I was "fertile" last month and it happened to be those day????

    Don't freak out yet. You don't know anything.

    Is it too soon to take a pregancy test?

    I'm guessing you're probably okay if you took the morning after pill. But take a pregnancy test to find out. Probably, you freaked out about the prospect of getting pregnant, and the stress combined with the pills made you late. But just double check with a test. Just don't freak out yet.

    Definitely take a test. I believe they are very reliable now and I can easily see your cycle messed up from the stress.

    I took a test yesterday. It was negative. I am freaking out this was a total accident.

    Whenever in doubt, take the test. It's too easy not to. My lovely lady's cycle is often VERY irregular, so we tend to keep a stockpile of tests handy.

    If you are still concerned, don't use a home pregnancy kit. Go to a clinic and ask for a "day after" blood test. This is the one they give rape victims, but it is available to anyone. It's the earliest test you can take to be sure.

    I would just like to share that I once had a condom break while I was out of town to see a guy and I had to wait until 2.5 days later to get to the clinic and get the MA pill. It worked just fine. I think you're in the clear, Anon, but its really easy to be freaked out by something like this!
